# Formatting

You can use formatting when setting up the letterhead and document template settings:

The formatting in Upp is similar to regular HTML markup, but the “tags” are enclosed in square brackets and their number is limited:

**[p]** Text paragraph **[/p]**

**[h1]** Heading 1 **[/h1]**

**[h2]** Heading 2 **[/h2]**

**[h3]** Heading 3 **[/h3]**

**[b]** Bold text **[/b]**

**[i]** Italic text **[/i]**

**[u]** Underlined text **[/u]**

**[c]** Centered text **[/c]**

New line: **[br]**

New page (when being printed): **[pb]**

Non-breaking space: **[nbsp]**
